Harrow 2 - 2 QPR (Queni, not Queens)

Good run out but again we failed to convert a shed load of chances, missed a penno also, glad we have a new striker coming.

They started with 10 and went 1 up, then when they had the 11 we decided to play, would say it wasn't our preferred 11 especially as the keeper wasn't there but probably the same for QPR.

Sun 6th June
Oadby Athletic 2-1 Niffy Rangers Reserves

Quite an aggressive game, but still fun. Lots of chances missed by us and a penalty miss.

Oadby Athletic 3-0 Harrow FC

Hard fought game, Harrow FC should do well in Div 5.

Cheers mate, likewise, I think based on your team last night you will more than hold your own in Division 3, reminds me of Great Wigston, you could of told me you were all young (not hard compared to me), I was knackered but after a few pints or more the aches drained away, lol.
I think by the end the fitness definitely showed, we had spells but again failed to convert the few chances that came our way.

Good luck for the new season lads.

AC Wigston 10-1 Oadby Athletic

Jay Braconridge 3
Lewis Madelin 2
Austin McNulty
Chris Cronogue Freeman
Mitch Cole
Colum Duffy
Stu Iddisah

As new secretary of AC Wigston, I went to watch (and run the line) against Oadby Athletic. I must say we were on fire today, and the new signings have improved us.

Surely league have got it wrong then and Oadby Athletic need to drop a league as they shouldn't be getting smashed like that against a team in same div?

Also why are people playing friendlies this early on season has only just finished :s

Oadby are a team with university students who leave Leicester for the Summer, therefore wanted to get as many games under there belt as possible. Don't see the problem.

Oadby did have a few players missing.

Who said there was a problem just asked why?

How many players we talking because surely even a few wouldn't have turned that score around?

Apparently they have a big squad and some had gone home already.

But there not a bad side, we have just improved alot, with 3 of our new signings scoring 5 goals.

friendly results mean nothing, western athletic beat sparta moshdock 3-0 in a friendly las season but i wouldn't have put them in the same league for week in week out football

We've signed Jay Braconridge and Mitch Cole, who also play for Wigston Car Breakers, so they will play for both sunday teams. Played for Aylestone Park Saturdays.

Also signed Colum Duffy-Oadby Town reserves.

How come you say you are the new sec?...but you are using the old username and password on here, that was registered to Dan last year? So is this username shared? Just so we all know.

Thats a highly inaccurate statement, not sure where it says that Dan is the Kingsway Secretary, both on here, or in the FA Handbook?

I'm sure for 15 years its been me.

But yes, I'm secretary of both teams now. Very Happy

Dan's got his own username, dee_aitcho, and I've got mine.
