R we any nearer for this weekends games? Just like to get texts out early and get the replies of why lads can't make it.

With next week being the mighty foxes game, can I be 1st to ask for a local game( wigston area). I'm guessing everyone will want an earlier ko time!

Also any chance of more than 1 weeks worth of fixtures being published?
Or at least a provisional set of fixtures so at least we can think about sorting things with Players?
|Subject: Re: Fixtures? Mon 08 Feb 2016, 2:15 pm|| |
we need fixtures.... teams need to organise we cant carry on like this surely?we have city game this sunday which causes probs, half term coming up which can effect pitch bookings, players wanting to know "do we have a game" any response??????
|Subject: Re: Fixtures? Mon 08 Feb 2016, 2:22 pm|| |
Yea that was my point because i have test my players and getting a few No's due to doing things now.
Publishing a provisional list of fixtures for a few week would help all clubs and if they change then they change but to know where we are for a few weeks then our players would know as well and organsise time round the Half term etc.

You've got to understand the league are doing there best, with the weather it can't be easy? Surely the logical thing is to just to assume you have a game to ensure players are available?

Thats how i'm having to work but we get food put on after the game for us and oppositions and the pub needs to know by Midday Tuesday about numbers and i cant get that if we dont know who were playing.

i understand there a a few county cup games still to play which take precedence, but lets hear some response from the league at least

It's getting silly, county cup games r at the semi final stage. So not to many to work out. I'm not knocking whoever has to do it all, I'm saying to the alliance, drop the amount of leagues and make it easier for everyone

seen them all on Facebook tonight. which means that following just 11 games surviving yesterday, James has worked pretty hard to get a new set of fixtures out a day after an almost complete washout, with County Cup games taking priority. Also there are some of our own cups that are a round or 2 behind others so they must also be accommodated. At this time of year the weather continues to play havoc with the list so whilst I understand clubs wanting more concrete plans, I agree with the earlier comment that players should all assume they have a game unless they hear otherwise. I would also say that once the county cups are out of the way and our own cups much further forward, there will almost certainly be a more substantial list of fixtures released which covers more than one week. And also there is the problem of pitch shares - some teams have already played each other home and away this season, there are a lot of variables

Can we put fixtures on ALLIANCE forum please. Not on Facebook
|Subject: Re: Fixtures? Tue 09 Feb 2016, 2:14 pm|| |
The website is out of Gordon's control, all fixtures were sent to secretaries as I received them via email?
|Subject: Re: Fixtures? Tue 09 Feb 2016, 2:36 pm|| |
So who runs the ALLIANCE forum then? I understand that club secs get the email and fair play. But surely the reason for a forum is to keep am everyone updated. Again I do appreciate its a thankless job but once there sorted out, put them on here. The sooner the better, it makes life easier for everyone
